Sally has a Masters in Counselling and a Diploma in Clinical and Pastoral Counselling; is accredited as a Counsellor Practitioner with the Association of Christian Counsellors UK and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has trained in the EMDR (www.emdr.com/briefdes.htm) approach along with Debriefing within a Critical Incident Stress Management Framework.
Her special interest is cross cultural issues and she has experience in multicultural counselling. Working in several Asian countries over many years has given her special insights in this area.
Sally can offer an integrative approach to counselling which includes member care to Christian workers in cross cultural and church ministry. She can help with debriefing at any stage in a worker's life.
Member care plays a valuable role in enabling Christian workers to be more effective in their ministries and may help to reduce the attrition of valuable workers. This ministry can supplement the facilities available within Mission Organisations as well as helping those who are working outside such groups.
We do not offer residential facilities, but these can be organised nearby.
